Due to trail damage from recent flooding, the 2026 Iron Horse Half has been re-routed from its traditional course. The new route is a modified out-and-back, point-to-point layout that replaces the previous downhill start. Runners can expect a mild incline during the first few miles, followed by a more balanced course profile. A virtual race option is also available for those who prefer to complete the distance on their own terms.
