The Park 2 Park 5-miler is a historic local event that has been a staple of the community since 1985. Originally known as the Intercity 10K, the race evolved into its current accurate 5-mile format under the guidance of the Lake Run Club in 1993. The course is designed for a field of approximately 500 runners, offering a manageable and friendly race-day atmosphere. Participants will enjoy three water stations along the route to keep them hydrated. With no formal awards ceremony, runners can conveniently collect their age-group or overall awards near the finish line starting at 8:00 AM.
