Join the community for the 9th Annual Runnin' For Rescues 5K/10K, a scenic race held in the beautiful Boaz area. This event supports the Second Chance Shelter, a non-profit, no-kill dog shelter dedicated to caring for over 250 dogs at a time. Runners and walkers of all levels are invited to participate in this certified course that starts and finishes at the Boaz Recreation Center. Participants will enjoy water stations along the route and receive finisher medals upon completion. Top performers in each age group will be recognized during an awards ceremony.
