The Wurst Kilometer is a uniquely irreverent race born from a late-night idea at Meantime in Detroit. This highly questionable one-kilometer challenge trades traditional endurance for a bratwurst and a mliko. Unlike its predecessor, this event features a single, straightforward course without any laps. Scheduled for a mid-afternoon in August, it promises to be as intense as it is absurd. All proceeds from the event go directly to support Rebel Dogs Detroit. Participants will walk away with a race day tank, a sticker, and the satisfaction of having completed the wurst kilometer imaginable.
