The annual X&A 5K and 3.21 Memorial event invites the community to honor the lives and running passion of Xavier and Aidan Wensink. Participants will traverse the familiar streets of Deshler, following the same routes the brothers ran throughout their lives. The event features a timed 5K, a 1-mile memorial walk, and a dedicated kids' Fun Run. Starting and ending at Deshler Pirate Park, the race fosters a supportive atmosphere with post-race pancakes served in memory of Aidan.
